Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now? Can we survive it out there can we make it somehow? I guess I thought that this would never end and suddenly it’s like we’re women and men. Will the past be a shadow that will follow us ‘round? Will these memories fade when I leave this town? I keep thinking this is not goodbye. I keep thinking it’s a time to fly

Thank you.

Friends, foes and strangers.

Thank you for the time you have stood by me.

Thank you for being there.

I’m sorry that I closed myself all this time…

I don’t know how to start but all this time… I’ve closed myself. I guess it will always be a fear of mine and it will perhaps linger with me until I die but I’m glad I found you guys. People aren’t perfect and I should realize this, in fact you are right, we should embrace our insecurities and our problems cause that is what makes us different. That is what makes us human. That is the difference between us and robots, we all have problems. And to have all of you stand by me all this time, it truly is a blessing and for this I should truly thank God.

To end of with a note: I would like to sincerely apologize for hurting you with my words. I honestly did not mean to and if I did I really do apologize. I’m sorry and I know sorry doesn’t make a difference but I promise that should you ever need me I’ll be there just like how I know you will always be there for me.

"My Dream, My Future"

All things that I do today is for my future. All of my hardwork and savings are allotted for the future. I have many plans which are HUGE in the future and I am about to present it now to you. You are free to read it if you want to.

After highschool, I am planning to take up accountancy for college. They say that this course is very hard because many students are shifting to other courses, but I really want to become an accountant and I believe I can do it so I will still pursue on on this course. After taking up accountancy, I plan to take up law, so that means that accountancy is only a my pre-law course.I want to become a lawyer because I know that I can earn much money with this profession. I believe that I can produce money once I am employed.

I want to buy all the things that I like. I want to wear all those expensive clothes, shoes and jewelries. I want to have all those gadgets that made me envious of my classmates and I will be able to buy a big house and car.

You may think that I am materialistic but I am just being practical. But this does not mean that it will end there. I will help everyone in this world to attain the justice they always wanted.

I envision myself with all these luxuries in life. I believe that perseverance, hardwork and a pinch of prayer will make me achieve all my dreams.

" Change: It Starts With Me"

Nothing is permanent, except change. Life is accompanied by problems and problems lead to changes.

Change. It starts with me. Being a student leader and a part of the society, I have a big responsibility of initiating a good change to attain a better future for me and a better country for my fellowmen.

Discipline is most needed to achieve a better future. Discipline will start in me and I will be a role model to those who look up to me and together we will build hope for the progress of the country. I know that what I am about to do requires a big effort and time but I have a faith in myself. I can do it all.

Kannawidan

Kannawidan Festival

The Kannawidan Festival is again here. It is a festival wherein different cities and municipalities in the North come to Vigan and show-off their unique and exceptional products or their OTOP (One Town One Product). Also, different agencies from the government had their display of unusual discoveries and creations.

The Kannawidan Festival this year started on January 31 and ended on February 6. During these days, the Kannawidan shopping area was filled with people. Tourists and Ilocanos were all over the place. No wonder, the festival made a success.

Concerts and pageants were also initiated. These made the people enjoy the festival even more. Singers and artists were invited to give entertainment to the people.

The kannawidan festival was all about happiness and success. Happiness is for the feeling of joy and excitement whenever you see someone you never thought you'd see and success is for the feeling of satisfaction felt when a single simple product is sold.

January 25

My January 25

January 25 is the feast of Saint Paul, the patron Saint of Vigan. I am not from Vigan but I study here thats why I'm still affected.

A grand parade was done during this day, and being a CAT officer, particularly a Band officer, I joined the parade. I was really embarrassed during the parade because people are talking about our school and they thought that our school is a mess, especially when they saw the mini skirts of the band members which is made from our own uniform. The majorette almost walked out.

After the parade, we went to the school. I cannot explain how exhausted I was. My right shoulder was aching because of the sword I held during the parade. My exhaustion was even accompanied by my anger to a person.

After that, I went home and did nothing.

Reflection

Again, another grading period has gone away. Together with this are the memories that I have treasured the most. Many things have happened to me this grading period and It's hard to let go of all these things but life must go on in its cycle of change.

This grading period was exciting because we did our own websites. Even though I had a hard time because of those confusing tags, I still think that making my own website is worth a while. It just make me feel satisfied that I have done such a great job.

Now, I will take another step higher. This only signifies that our graduation day is nearing but then, I will do everything to make the best out of our remaining time in this institution. it will serve as my inspiration to fulfilling my dreams in college. Fortunately, I passed in the UPCAT but then, I will not study there.

New Year, New Beginning

Traditionally, we embrace the new year by having grand celebrations, not to mention how the display of sparkling colors in the sky make this party even merrier. But the new year is not about delicious foods, lively environment and all good stuff. For me, it is the start of something new. Something better.

I am aware that I have commited numerous mistakes in the previous year. And so this year, I plan to become a better sister, friend, student and daugter. This is my chance of transforming myself into a HAZEL which everyone will love. New year is the beginning of new and an exeptional life. Also, since I am already graduating, I plan to make the last weeks with my friends memorable. For sure, I will miss them but I have to go with the flow of life. This graduation will not be the end. It will be a new beginning of another step of my struggle in life.

The True Essence of Christmas

CHRISTMAS

The cold breeze in the air, boys and girls singing at the streets and colorful lights in the evening signifies that Christmas season is again here.

Christmas is a time when we consecrate the birth of Jesus Christ, our savior. This season only come once a year and people make the best out of it. Most people take this opportunity to reunite with their families and friends. And as a tradition, we prepare delicious foods that the family can enjoy together.

Christmas. It is the season of sharing and loving, for Jesus Christ wanted us to do such things. He has been born to save us from sins and we should reciprocate what he did. Christmas is not about how expensive our gifts are, but it's about the concern we have for them. And I think perhaps saying "I love you" is incomparable with any other material thing that anyone can give.

So, I wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!
