"Magandang Pagsasamahan Tungo sa Maayos at Maunlad na Lipunan."

Filipinos are known for having good values such as being hospitable and being family-oriented. These traits make us unique from other countries all over the world.

Everyone of us aims to have a progressive and fruitful society to live in. It is better to live in a country of peace than in a country of war, isn't it? Achieving this kind of community requires good relationship between the Filipinos residing in a specific area. Of course, when we work hand in hand, it will be easier for us to accomplish our tasks, which means that we will have more time for the development of our country.

We must therefore maintain our good relation to our fellowmen for a stable and progressive society

Semestral Break...

.twilight.

The thought of having the semestral break really excites me. That was why I cannot concentrate in reviewing the lessons for the periodical examination. I rejoiced after the test was done but still, there left a sorrowful part in me because I will miss my friend and my classmates.

My sembreak was about the twilight festival. Well, not all of it, but it was the best part. During the first days of the sembreak, I stayed home doing boring things. I just play computer games, enhance my social network pages and if not, I just lie on my bed while watching TV or sending text messages.

TWILIGHT. There was a festival of the City of Vigan in celebration of the Halloween. I joined the school for its participation in the festival. Our practices should be done several weeks before but only 3 days was left for us to practice for our showdown and street dancing. The task seemed to be impossible at first but after just one day, we finished our steps for the street dancing. What an achievement! We did nothing the next day, There were no available computer shops to remix songs or burn cd's so, we did the job ourselves.

We did our best in practicing for the showdown. We even went home late at night even though we felt something
supernatural! I was so scared. But it was hard when you are sacrificing and yet, you are being scolded by useless people. Its heart-braking and we almost backed out but we thought of our efforts. I was still glad because the administrative officer was at our side.

During the contest, I was so nervous about the smoke machine. we own it and I am so worried for my parents will scold me if something will be done accidentally.

We had the scariest makeup and we are the most "
photogenic" group bacause many tourists took pictures with us. We didn't win but it was just okay. At least, we finished one dance showdown and street dancing in just merely 3 days.

Reflection

. . . . .Reflections.

The second grading period was all about exploring the web deeper. Even the smallest characters which makes its appearance were learned.

We tried making the activities about it through Exers 1-8. Typing different kinds of tags makes my head turn. They were so confusing and I found the angle brackets irritating to type. I discovered that every part of that simple tag or code was very important for the ideal display of the page. Even a single angle bracket or even a single letter on it which is missing can destroy the whole page.

I have missed some of the classes in ICT IV during this grading period. That was because I went at the National Leadership Training in Baguio and because there were some interruptions because of my being as a club president and NLT delegate. That was why I have not cope up with some of the lessons.

But still did my best in doing all the requirements. I have finished all the Exers and I posted all the essay requirements on this blog.

Moving on, I will do my best to the next grading period and I hope that there will be lesser interruptions so I can attend my classes regularly.

Breaking Barriers Through English

"Barrier Breaker"

English is the universal language. This only means that it is the language that is spoken mostly by the people all over the world. Being able to speak in English is very useful to all of us. That is why, we Filipinos learn English as a subject in our school.

In life, many problems arise. Problems are barriers of the society's improvement. These include conflicts between different countries and the people . Since English is the universal language, we can be able to communicate with them using the dialect for attaining peace and order.

Through English, people will be able to understand each other even though they have different dialects. It is imperative therefore that can speak the language straightly, including the use of correct grammar.

Filipinnovation, the way Forward

Filipinnovation, the way Forward

Every Filipino wants progress and improvement of the Philippines. Nobody wants our country's economy to fall and most Filipinos want to see it running in line with those developed countries.

Filipino + Innovation. Filippinnovation. As the word suggests, it is the process in which the Filipinos are being innovated for their awareness and knowledge on the modern era to widen. It is the way forward. Once the Filipinos are innovated, they will be able to do better tings which will turn the Philippines into a modernized country for the society. These will make the country's economy to rise. The high economy of the Philippines indicates the absence of poverty which means that we already live in a well developed country.

Indeed, Filipinnovation is the way forward. So we must all be willing to innovate ourselves for our future.

My Teacher, My Hero

TEACHERS

They are our second parents.
They are our molders.
They are the ones who are the key to success.
They are the ones who educate us.

Yes! I am referring to our teachers, the patient, industrious, and generous people who always stand in front of the class, educating us with all the things that we need to know and discover. I do believe that teaching is really the greatest profession for teachers are the ones whom we get our knowledge from.

Do you think that we will have sturdy infrastructures without the engineers and architects? Will justice and fairness prevail without our lawyers? Will there be doctors and nurses to take care of us if not for their teachers who were the ones who taught them? Without the teachers, no one will be regarded as professional. Everyone of us, if not for them, will be uncivilized by now and surely, we will know nothing. Therefore, a teacher serve as a foundation for all the different professions in this world.

Teachers care for us at school. They keep us safe and comfortable even if we have our parents. That is why they are regarded as our guardians. With all of the things that our teachers have done for us, we should be grateful. We should thank them and we should show our love and care for them. Think about all of their sacrifices. they have their own families, but still, they care for us. They are still understanding us even if we are naughty and abusing at times.

Kudos for all the teachers all over the world!

REFLECTIONS

LOOKING BACK...

Time flies so fast. it seems that it was only yesterday when Mrs Vera Cruz entered our homeroom and introduced herself and the subject to us during the first day of classes.

I learned many things during the first grading period. We tackled first about the history of the internet so that we will have a background on it for we will use it for the whole school year. The idea of the regular use of the net made me feel excited about the subject. We learned to make our own blogs and we post every activity that we make on it every now and then.

Not like the previous years, we are using the internet more frequently this year than last year. The only problem is that the internet connection in our computer, in Workstation 10 is not responding at times so I needed to borrow the computer of other workstations and sometimes, I even do the activity at home. But all in all, I think I have done well with my studies during this grading period, although I suffered some problems.

Moving on, I will do my best to be better this next grading period and I will be more responsible with my work.

Sa Pangangalaga ng Wika at Kalikasan, Wagas na Pagmamahal Talagang Kailangan

I LOVE my Nation's Language

Every year, August marks a very significant month for the Filipinos. It is the month wherein we celebrate because of our national language.

What is the reason for such celebration? Our National language is our identity for being Filipinos. A national language serves as a mean of communication connecting different places with different dialects in the Philippines for development. It is therefore the only key of interaction for the government to realize all the needs of our brothers and sisters from farther areas to be heed and given. Then, it is advised for us Filipinos, to celebrate this month of our National language to reminisce all of its contributions in the country's improvement. Also, we should value and treasure it so that our improvement will be continuous for a better Philippines for tomorrow.

Using our National language somewhat contributes to the improvement of our environment. As we all know, the earth is now unsafe which means, the people's lives are now in danger, especially when we let it get even worse.

Through a uniform type of communication to other people, the plan of saving the environment will be held possible and it will be a worldwide implementation. Because of this, a better environment will be achieved in our country. Diseases may be prevented which may contribute to our goal to eradicate poverty. The result, of course, is the Nation's increase in economy.

The key in doing these things is LOVE. It is the most powerful thing in this world. Love should be in our hearts to make these happen. Our love for our language and love for the nature will save us all. It is the door opener of every heart of people, not only here in the Philippines to attain the change that we always wanted. Love can reunite us for the betterment.

Sa pagkaing Wasto at Tapat, Timbang ni Baby, katapat

Be Healthy

Nutrition is very essential for all of us. This year's theme for the nutrition month celebration is, "Sa Pagkaing wasto at tapat, timbang ni baby katapat." It aims to promote good health and a well rounded body for everyone.

Having a healthy body gives us the fullest happiness that we can attain as we live. Because of this, we are able to hang with our friends and do all the things that we always wanted doing. Truly, health is wealth for we can do everything with ease without experiencing fatigue. It is also important for us to be healthy for attaining a longer life span. It is imperative therefore, for us to eat the right kinds of food and consider a healthy exercise daily.

Babies should also be healthy for them to grow stronger. Mothers should also be healthy because they carry the babies on their wombs. The nutrients that they take in are also shared with the baby inside them to support its growth.

Letter to the President

...to the PRESIDENT

Dear Mr. President,

Good day Sir!

I am Hazel Angelie from Ilocos Sur. I am not a voter for I am only 15 years old, but I know that my parents supported you during the election last May 10. I also want to congratulate you for winning in the election.
I am a youth and I wrote to you because I want you to hear our cry. With my parents and all the Filipinos all over the country, we are expecting more from you Sir and we hope that you will be a lot better than that of the previous administrations.

You promised us that you will eliminate corruption in our country. I am really looking forward to it because we, the youth, are very much affected especially with regards to our education. I am aware that most of the Nation's fund goes to the Department of Education but how come we still lack instructional materials for our study? We expect more books and computer units but nothing was given to us. We need more classrooms Sir. Our school here can no longer support us for we have a big population in our school. I thought that maybe, the officers of the department are really the corrupt ones.

In your administration Sir, I hope that we will be able to feel some progress in our country, not only for the youth but also with the people who are older than us.
Thank you Mr. President. I pray for your and good health and may God bless you and your family.
